Does Reflection Space work without an account?
Yes. There is no account and no sign-up, because there is no server to sign into. Download it and start; how data is handled is in the privacy policy.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. On iOS you can enable iCloud so it syncs privately between your iPhone and iPad; on Android it stays on the device, with a full backup file you can export and restore anywhere. Nothing leaves the device unless you bring your own key.
Do I need my own AI key?
Only for cloud AI, and only if you want AI at all. Insights can run on-device — Apple Intelligence on iPhone 15 Pro or later with iOS 26, Gemini Nano on recent Android devices. For OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Grok you connect your own key, stored in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore. Setup details are in Support.
